How do I sign-up with MERQARY?

On the MERQARY homepage, click the yellow sign-up button. Fill in your email address, your desired username, and account password, then click Confirm. You will receive a welcome email. Confirm your email address by clicking the Confirm My Email button in the confirmation email. To sign in, simply use your email or user name and nominated password.

Is there a membership fee when signing up for MERQARY?

All new members are given a ‘Rookie’ membership. This is the most basic membership tier which has no monthly recurring fee.

What are the benefits of each membership tier?

Note that the Rookie tier does not allow you to sell in the Marketplace.

How do I change my membership tier?

Upon logging in, go to Profile > My Account, then click Manage Membership. Choose a membership tier and click the corresponding Select this plan button. If your payment method details were not entered before, you will be asked to enter them now, then click the Change Payment Method button. Upon setting up a payment method, you can now change your membership tier on this same page by clicking the Change Membership button. A page will confirm that you have successfully changed your membership tier.

How will the monthly membership fee be billed to me?

You will be billed immediately upon confirmation of the upgrade, on a prorata basis depending on where in the monthly cycle you became a member. Ongoing monthly fees will be charged on the 25th of each following month. If you upgrade or change membership tier any date other than the 25th of any month, you will be charged on a prorata basis for the month of change, and then ongoing monthly fees will be charged on the 25th of each following month

For example: you upgrade from a Rookie membership to The Collector membership tier on March 29. There are 27 days left before April 25. Therefore, you will be charged 4.99 USD * 27/31 on March 27 (approx 4.35 USD). On April 25th, you will be charged the monthly membership fee of 4.99 USD.

What happens when I downgrade my membership tier?

You will immediately lose all benefits of your previous membership tier upon confirmation of the downgrade.

If I downgrade back to Rookie membership tier, what happens to my items in the marketplace?

Unfortunately you will lose your ability to sell in the marketplace. Any actively listed items will be delisted. This does not include items already in the process of being checked out by buyers and items that need to be shipped - they can be completed even in the Rookie tier.

If payment for the recurring membership fee failed, what happens?

You will be downgraded to Rookie membership tier.
